Chinese Recipe - Stuffed Abalone with Shrimp Paste

Ingredients:
- 6 baby abalone, canned
- 120 gm shrimp paste
- 100 gm meat paste
- 15 gm carrot, minced
- 1 sprig spring onion, diced
- ¼ tsp chopped garlic
Marinades:
- ¼ tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
Seasoning:
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp Shaoxing wine
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- Dash of sesame oil
Thickening:
Directions:
- Combine shrimp paste, meat paste and diced spring onion with marinades.
- Drain abalone well. Slice a slit in the middle. Stuff in filling.
- Steam for 12 minutes over high heat. Remove and arrange on a plate.
- Heat wok with 1 tbsp oil, stir fry chopped garlic till fragrant. Add in minced carrot and seasoning, bring to the boil and pour over abalone.
