Chinese Recipe : Fried Shredded Beef and Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • ½ lb beef, shredded
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ½ lb potatoes, shredded
  • ½ stalk leek, shredded
  • 6 tbsp oil

Seasonings:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp MSG

Directions:

  1. Boil shredded potatoes until barely tender; then drain.
  2. Dredge shredded beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch.
  3. Heat 6 tbsp oil and fry beef and leek. When beef changes color, add potatoes and stir well.
  4. Add seasonings, stir well, and serve hot.
