Chinese Recipe : Chinese Pepper Steak
Ingredients:
1 lb. top round steak
2 green peppers
1 c. diced celery
2 to 3 tbsp. diced onions
1 clove garlic, diced
1 can beef consommé
2 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. cornstarch
4 tbsp. water
Directions:
Brown steak strips in 2 tbsp. hot oil.
Quickly add vegetables and consommé, cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
Add soy sauce. Combine the water and cornstarch and add it to thicken the liquid, simmer until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
