Chinese Recipe - Braised Bamboo Shoots with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
½ lb canned bamboo shoot
8 dried mushrooms
5 tbsp oil
1 tbsp wine
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp MSG
6 tbsp water
Directions:
Cut bamboo shoot into cubes.
Soak mushrooms in hot water for 10 minutes. Remove stems. If large mushrooms are used, halved them.
Heat oil and fry bamboo shoot and mushrooms. Add all seasonings and water. Cover with lid and simmer for 20 minutes until liquid dries up. Serve hot.
