Chinese Recipe - Sea Moss and Mushroom Soup

This soup helps to replenish blood and darken hair
Ingredients:
- 1 oz sea moss (Fatt-choy)
- 3 oz straw mushroom
- 3 oz dried beancurd sticks
- 3 oz lotus roots
- 2 slices ginger
Seasoning:
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp sugar
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- Dash of sesame oil
- Dash of pepper
Directions:
- Soak and wash sea moss. Wash straw mushroom. Drain both well.
- Soak and cut dried beancurd sticks into 1 inch lengths. Wash and slice lotus roots.
- Heat ½ tbsp oil. Sauté ginger. Add suitable amount of water and bring to a boil. Put in dried beancurd sticks. Parboil for 5 minutes.
- Add sea moss, straw mushroom and lotus roots. Bring to a boil. Stir in seasoning. Serve hot.
