Chinese Recipe - Chicken w/ Mushroom & Ham Soup

A drink good for general health

Ingredients:

  • 1 chicken (about 2 2/3 lbs)
  • 1 1/3 oz mushroom
  • 3 oz Yunnan ham
  • 1 1/3 oz conpoy
  • 3 slices ginger

Seasoning:

  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Wash and blanch chicken in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove and rinse.
  2. Wash and slice ham.
  3. Soak and trim mushroom. Wash and soak conpoy in warm water for 1 hour.
  4. Boil suitable amount of water. Put in all ingredients and bring to a boil. Then simmer over low hear for 3 hours. Stir in seasoning. Serve hot.
