Chinese Recipe - Braised Sea Cucumber with Chinese Mushrooms (Microwave)

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

A:

  • 400 g sea cucumber, pre-soaked, sliced
  • 10 pcs Chinese mushroom, presoaked, sliced

B:

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 pips garlic, sliced thinly
  • 2 cm ginger, sliced thinly
  • 3 tbsps oyster mushroom sauce
  • ¼ tbsp dark mushroom sauce
  • 1 cup water

C:

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsps water
  • Sugar and pepper to taste
  • 200 g broccoli, cut into florets, blanched

Directions:

  1. Fragrant B in a microwave safe dish on power High for 3 to 4 minutes.
  2. Stir in C and cook on power high for 20 seconds. Add in A and cook on power High for 1 minute.
  3. Add water, cover and cook on power High for 10-12 minutes until sea cucumber is tender.
  4. Arrange blanched broccoli on a serving dish, pour sea cucumber over it and serve immediately.
