Chinese Recipe - Chicken and Spinach Soup

Ingredients:

• ½ lbs chicken
  
• 1 onion, sliced
  
• 3 slices ginger
  
• ½ lb spinach
  
• 1 oz vermicelli
  
• 1 tbsp salt
  
• 1 tbsp wine
  
• ¼ tsp MSG

Directions:

1. Boil chicken with onion and ginger in ample water for 1 hour or until tender. Remove chicken to a plate and save broth for soup.
2. Wash spinach and cut into sections.
3. Soak vermicelli in hot water and cut into sections.
4. Bring soup to boil, add spinach, vermicelli, and seasonings.  Cook until spinach is tender.
5. Shred chicken and add to soup. Serve hot.
