Chinese Recipe - Stir Fried Crab with Special Sauce


  • 450 gm green crab (2x)
  • 1 sprig spring onion (diced)
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • ½ tsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds


  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp chilli oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame sauce


  1. Remove shell of crab, scrape inner parts, clean well. Cut into 8 pieces. Pat crab claws, mix with cornflour. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain well and ready to use.
  2. Stir fry sesame seeds without oil till aromatic.
  3. heat up wok with 1 tbsp of oil, stir fry chopped garlic and add in crab pieces, season and fry well.
  4. Sprinkle with diced spring onion and sesame seeds.
