Chinese Recipe : Fried Noodles with Assorted Meat
|
|
Ingredients:
- 5 small bowls cooked noodles (individual servings)
- ¼ lbs sliced pork, dredged with 1 tsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch
- ¼ lb sliced chicken, dredged with ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp cornstarch
- 2 abalone, sliced
- 5 dried mushrooms, soaked and sliced
- ¼ lb bamboo shoot, sliced
- 25 shrimps (or 4 sliced prawns), dredged with 1 tsp wine and 1 tsp cornstarch
- 40 snow peas, strung and parboiled
- ¼ lb ham, sliced
- 7 tbsp oil
- 4 cups water or broth
- 2 tbsp wine
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
- Heat 3 tbsp oil and fry noodles in one big pancake until both sides turn light brown. Remove to a plate.
- Heat 4 tbsp oil and fry pork, chicken, abalone, mushrooms, bamboo shoot, shrimp, snow peas, and ham.
- Add water (or broth) and seasonings. Bring to boil and thicken with cornstarch.
- Pour mixture over fried noodles and serve hot.
This recipe serves 4 to 6 persons.
