Chinese Recipe : Fish with Bean Curd

Ingredients:

A:

  • 1 lb fish, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp wine
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 stalk leek, diced
  • 3 slices ginger

B:

  • 2 cakes bean curd, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp wine
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Dash of MSG
  • 5 small red peppers or a few drops of Tabasco

Directions:

  1. Clean and scale fish, wash and wipe. Cut into bite-size  pieces.
  2. Heat 5 tbsp oil and fry fish.
  3. Add remainder of A ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add bean curd and other B ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
