Chinese Recipe : Deep Fried Fish Sticks

Serves 4
Ingredients:
- ½ lb white fish meat
- 2 egg whites
Mixture A:
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- A pinch of salt and MSG
- Oil for deep-frying
- 1 tomato, thinly sliced
Dip:
Directions:
- Cut the fillet into finger-length pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold in Mixture A. Dip the fish into this coating.
- Heat the oil in a wok and deep-fry the fish. Place on a serving dish and garnish with the tomato slices. Serve with the table seasonings.
