Chinese Recipe : Stir Fry Beef with Snow Peas

Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
- 1 lb tenderloin beef, sliced thinly
- 3 ½ oz snow peas
- 3 ½ oz button mushrooms, sliced
- 3 ½ oz bamboo shoots, sliced
- ¼ cup oil
- 2 oz ginger slices
Marinade sauce:
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Chinese wine or beef stock
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp water
Seasoning:
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp sugar
- 3 tbsp water
Directions:
- Marinade beef with sauce and set aside for 10 minutes. Then, add 1 tbsp oil and mix (this will help the meat to separate well during cooking)
- Heat oil in a hot wok. Stir fry meat until almost cooked. Dish and drain.
- With 2 tbsp oil, fry ginger till it's fragrant. Put in the rest of the ingredients and quickly stir fry. Add beef and seasoning. Give it a quick stir and dish up. Serve hot.
