Chinese Recipe : Chinese Pepper Steak

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. top round steak
- 2 green peppers
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2 to 3 tbsp. diced onions
- 1 clove garlic, diced
- 1 can beef consommé
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 4 tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 tbsp. water
Directions:
- Brown steak strips in 2 tbsp. hot oil.
- Quickly add vegetables and consommé, cover and simmer about 10 minutes.
- Add soy sauce. Combine the water and cornstarch and add it to thicken the liquid, simmer until thickened. Serve over hot rice.
