Chinese Recipes Chinese Ground Beef Casserole

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 2 med. sized onions, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 can Chow mein noodles
Directions:
- Brown meat in shortening until slightly brown and crumbly.
- Add onions, celery, soups, water, rice and soy sauce.
- Pour into greased casserole. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes; uncover and bake another 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle 1 can of chow mein noodles on top and bake 15 minutes more.
