Malaysian Recipe : Borneo Prawn Umai (Lime-Marinated Prawn Salad)

Serves 10
Ingredients:
- 500g medium-sized prawns, shelled
- 100g shallots, peeled and sliced
- 150g onion, peeled and sliced thinly
- 60g young ginger, shredded finely
- 50g red chilies, sliced finely
- 400ml calamansi (kasturi) lime juice
- Salt, pepper and sugar to taste
Garnish:
Directions:
- Combine all the ingredients except the garnish and set aside in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
